This is probably the most common misconception I see with new clients is that they expect to start getting Web Site Hits the day they launch their site and they dont get the trafic that they were expecting. The day after they get their website set up they ask me why they can't find their site when they search Google for it. It can take weeks or months to get your new site ranked in the search engines. We can sujest to you about how and what you need to do to get the word out about your new site. What is Resolution? TOP Resolution refers to the number of dots per inch (dpi), or the amount of detail the image has. Higher resolution means a more detailed image, and also larger file and longer upload time. Proofing your documents TOP
Always check your document for color quality, spelling and layout. You are responsible for proofreading your files. Proofreading saves you time, money and frustration.
We always try to catch mistakes but you are the final eyes of the project so please look over your documents carefully. We will not be held responsible for mishaps in spelling or errors after the fact but we will fix them promptly once you notify us. Who owns the rights to the completed logo design? TOP On settlement of the agreed fee, we pass all ownership rights to you - we do reserve the right to display our created logo designs for promotional purposes. Do you offer refunds? TOP
Since our company is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds once the project has been started, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing any article at our site. Do I really need content on every page? TOP
YES! Content is one of the major factors in SEO. Without it how will the search engines know what your selling in order to send relevant results? Can you host my site? TOP Yes we will include hosting in your package if you need it. What is hosting? TOP Hosting (also known as Web site hosting, Web hosting, and Webhosting) is the business of housing, serving, and maintaining files for one or more Web sites. More important than the computer space that is provided for Web site files is the fast connection to the Internet. Most hosting services offer connections on T-carrier system lines. Typically, an individual business hosting its own site would require a similar connection and it would be expensive. Using a hosting service lets many companies share the cost of a fast Internet connection for serving files. Can you modernize my existing logo? TOP Yes! Of course - send us your existing design and we can discuss your requirements. Redevelopment is usually accompanied with consultation to get the most from your new brand. What is a Domain Name? TOP
It is a name that identifies one or more IP addresses. For example, the domain name microsoft.com represents about a dozen IP addresses. Domain names are used in URLs to identify particular Web pages. For example, in my URL http://www.fritzerdesigns.com/blogfolio, the domain name is fritzerdesigns.com.
Every domain name has a suffix that indicates which top level domain (TLD) it belongs to. There are only a limited number of such domains. For example:
gov - Government agencies edu - Educational institutions org - Organizations (nonprofit) mil - Military com - commercial business net - Network organizations ca - Canada th - Thailand
Because the Internet is based on IP addresses, not domain names, every Web server requires a Domain Name System (DNS) server to translate domain names into IP addresses. I have an idea I would really like to see incorporate or developed, can we focus on this? TOP Yes, this is a great way to get a multitude of logo concepts that are all closely themed from the outset, effectively giving more choice in a particular direction - we don't just request your involvement, we require it! What happens if it doesnt work out? TOP We work hard to produce design solutions that exceed your logo brief, the design process is an evolutionary one, with initial concept refined into a complete and polished solution.
If after the initial concepts are presented, they are deemed unsuitable, for whatever reason, we will happily redraw from scratch using your new feedback as a base to move forward, if this is a fixed fee package, we will not return to the initial concepts however! If after the secondary concepts are presented, they are still considered unworkable, and after honest feedback between us, the process is deemed to be beyond salvation, we will retain the initial payment to cover the time invested in the creation of logo concepts, this is the most time intensive period, due to the thought that goes into creating solutions. The aim is for a fair compromise to be reached. If we are on a rolling fee agreement, we will simply bill for the hours competed.
Our main aim in this process is to exceed you're expectations, designing a logo that will stand the rigours of time, that you can be genuinely proud of. We continually endeavour to improve our service and welcome any comments. How can I see my logo design concepts? TOP We will send a .pdf file via email that you can view both on screen and print out. We are happy to provide in an alternate electronic format if specified, hard copy proofs via mail / courier are also available at additional cost. |
